Recap of 2017

What a year it has been! The last half of 2017 seriously went by so fast - I can't believe that we only have two more days left of it! I had a pretty amazing and eventful year so let's do a quick recap:
  • Queensland We went on our first group trip to Queensland earlier this year. It was my first time going somewhere with Angelo and we had an amazing time! The weather wasn't the best but I enjoyed relaxing by the pools and the beach.
  • Spent my 24th birthday in Bali I have not been overseas in 8 years so I was really excited to spend my birthday overseas! It was an amazing two weeks and we did so many activities. I cannot wait until we go back.
  • A full-time job I got my first full-time job in the middle of the year.
  • Purchased a piece of land Unexpectedly, I purchased my first piece of land with Angelo. We didn't plan to but it just happened. We thought we would join the market early, rather than later on when price increases.
  • Contracts signed with our builder Now we wait until our settlement day #2k19
  • Meeting Angelo's extended family Does anyone else get scared meeting family members? I do but there was nothing to be scared of because they were the sweetest people and treated me like I was their own.
To end the year, I unfortunately fell and hurt my foot so I've been on bed rest the past few days. It really sucked but shit happens!

Some things that I want to achieve in 2018:
  • Travel more I want to travel more before we settle into our house but I don't think it's going to happen because we are also trying to save for the house.
  • Use my gym membership I purchased a gym membership in November so I really want to make good use of it. Hopefully, my foot heals soon!
  • Blog more I always say this every year but it never happens...
  • Continue being happy and live life to the fullest!
I hope everyone had an amazing year and wishing you a happy and safe New Year!
